½ kilo pork liempo

4 cups water (add more if needed)

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp vinegar

3 pcs dried bay leaves

1 medium onion

5 garlic (cloves)

½ tsp whole peppercorn

2 tbsp canola oil

1 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp fish sauce (patis)

black pepper (cracked)-to taste
